
Board of DirectorsJames N. Little, PhD – ChairmanDr. Little joined the Company’s Board in 1995 and was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2007. Dr. Little is currently a consultant to the laboratory instrumentation field. Prior positions include President of Cetek Corporation, Senior Vice President of Zymark Corporation (acquired by Caliper Life Sciences) and Senior Vice President of Waters Corporation. Michael C. FerraraMr. Ferrara joined the Company's Board of Directors in 2007. He was previously Chief Executive Officer and President of X-Rite Incorporated. Prior to X-Rite, Mr. Ferrara was CEO of Marine Optical Group, CEO of N.I. World Trade, a trading subsidiary of National Intergroup (formerly National Steel) and held positions of increasing seniority over an 18-year period at Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Mr. Ferrara has a B.S in electrical engineering from Villanova University and completed the Program for Management Development (PMD) at Harvard Business School. Leo Pierre RoyMr. Roy joined the Company’s Board of Directors in 2000. He is currently Director of Environmental and Energy Services at Vanasse Hangen & Brustlin, Inc.. Prior positions include Vice President of The Bioengineering Group, Founder and President of Houqua & Company, President/Chief Operating Officer of Energy Answers Corporation, and Director of Waste Policy and Planning and later as Undersecretary of the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs, Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Roy serves as Chairman of the MFIC’s Compensation Committee. George Uveges, CPAMr. Uveges joined the Company’s Board of Directors in 2004. He is the Founder and Principal of the Tallwood Group. Prior positions include Past President/Chief Executive Officer of TranXenoGen, Chief Operating Officer of BioSource International, Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of NEN Life Science and Chief Financial Officer/Vice President of Gelman Life Sciences. Mr. Uveges is also a member of the Board of Directors of Harvard Biosciences, Inc. Mr. Uveges serves as Chairman of MFIC’s Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Eric Walters, CPAMr. Walters joined the Company’s Board of Directors in 2005. He is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at CardioTech International. Prior positions include Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Konarka Technologies, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial of PolyMedica Corporation and Assistant Treasurer, John Hancock Capital Growth Management. Mr. Waters is also a member of the Board of Directors of CorNova, Inc. Mr. Walters serves as Chairman of the MFIC’s Audit Committee. |
