In 2004, MFIC focused their business plan to invest heavily in research and discovery. This investment led to the discovery and development of breakthrough technology, including Microfluidics Reaction Technology (MRT), advancing the field of formulation and further solidifying Microfluidics’s role as a global leader and innovator. MRT utilizes a revolutionary “bottoms up” proprietary approach whereby the particle is built up molecule by molecule allowing not only for optimal and consistent sizing of the particles but also for the creation of smaller particle sizes not previously achievable.

Microfluidics continues to advance the formulation field in its Microfluidics Technology Center. At the Center, highly-specialized R&D engineers discover breakthrough technologies, develop new applications for existing technology and create innovative new products to meet customers’ needs.
