NEWTON, MA, August 6, 2009-- Microfluidics International Corporation (OTCBB: MFLU) announced today that the Company will release second quarter 2009  financial results on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, before the opening of the U.S. financial markets.

Michael C. Ferrara, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Peter F. Byczko, Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, will host a conference call and live audio webcast at 8:30 AM Eastern Time on Tuesday, August 11, 2009.
